Eligibility for Admissions

Admission to B. Tech. First Year through Entrance Examination

• Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other board with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/ Biology (secured minimum 50% marks for general candidates and minimum 45% marks for SC/ST candidates) are eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech.
• Candidates who have passed Intermediate of U.P. Board or (10+2) standard from other board with Agriculture are only eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering).

Admission to B.Tech. Second Year Through Lateral Entry Scheme

• Candidates who have passed 3/4 year Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) from institutions recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering/Technology except Agriculture Engg. are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engg./Technology except Agriculture Engg. Candidates who have passed 3/4 year Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) from institutions recognized by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in Agriculture Engg. are only eligible for admission to Second year of Agriculture Engg.
• Candidates who have passed 3 year B Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any recognized University (with minimum 60% marks) are eligible for admission to Second year in any branch of Engg./Technology.

MCA

For admission through Entrance Examination:

For admission to MCA 1st semester a candidate should have any degree of minimum 3 years duration of recognised University with (50% aggregate marks for General candidates and 45% for SC/ST) Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at graduation.

Procedure for Admission

• Counseling round as per UPTU
• 15% management quota, will be operated as per merit
• Students can register for admission online as well at the institute admission office.
