MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION

The Master of Computer Application Program was started in the year 2008. The M.C.A. Department is bestowed with an experienced team of faculty members with excellent academic records and proficiency. Excellent infrastructure, state-of-the-art computers with the latest advances in technology and comprehensive study material make the Department a class apart.

The M.C.A. Department helps in providing the I.T. and Computer Industry with world-class talent and creating some of the finest software professionals year after year. By providing concept-oriented subject knowledge through a high quality teaching that is supplemented with practical training, the Department aims to bring out some of the brightest minds into the world of computers and technology.

Objective: To Recognize the potential and talent of our students and offer them a platform for literary and creative Expressions.

LABORATORIES

The department is proud of its laboratories. They are spacious, well laid out and have all experiment set ups for B.Tech students. The department has three well equipped labs:

MCA Lab

  6. DBMS Lab

  7. OOS Lab

  8. Dot Net Frame Work Lab

Facilities

  1. The Institute has state of the art computer center, which caters to the computing needs of the faculty, staff and student for their research and teaching activities. Computer Center provides computational facilities to all users in the Institute.

  2. It has a users base of more than 100 active users at any given point of time. Computer Center has a number of state of the art servers, from IBM and Hewlett Packard.

  3. The machines are provided with the latest configuration. Apart from hardware resources Computer Center provides different operating systems (Windows and Linux), wide range of application software, statistical package, image processing packages.
